Keith JamesonTenor Keith Jameson’s most recent engagements include singing Flute in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Lyric Opera of Chicago, and The Simpleton in Boris Godunov at Dallas Opera. Other recent engagements include the Metropolitan Opera in Gianni Schicchi and Carmen; Le nozze di Figaro and I Pagliacci at Chicago Lyric; L’Incoronazione di Poppea with Los Angeles; Le nozze di Figaro in Dallas; and The Bartered Bride with Opera Boston. His appearances with Santa Fe Opera include Traviata, Billy Budd, and Madama Butterfly. He made his Met debut in Prokofiev’s War & Peace, and sang Turandot at Atlanta Opera and The Turn of the Screw with L’Opera Royal de Wallonie. He made his UK debut with English National Opera as Nanki-Poo in The Mikado, and his long relationship with New York City Opera includes that role as well as Turandot, Candide, Alcina, Sweeney Todd and Flavio. He made his New York Philharmonic debut in Janaček’s The Cunning Little Vixen and upcoming in Eugene Onegin at the Los Angeles Opera, in Madama Butterfly with Arizona Opera (debut) and will return to the Met as The Novice in Billy Budd.
